Design Exchange Partnership Forum
Thursday Oct 20, 2022
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Bakala Auditorium, the Design Museum
Join the Design Museum’s Future Observatory and the Arts and Humanities Research Council for our Design Exchange Partnership research forum on Thursday 20 October.
Find out more about Future Observatory: Design the Green Transition research opportunities and how to apply to develop design-led solutions to climate challenges facing UK coastal and island communities.
Design Exchange Partnerships (DEPs) are AHRC-funded research projects which bring researchers into collaboration with non-academic partners, such as local council and business, to address the climate crisis. Applications are currently open for funding proposals to form next year’s DEP cohort.
The forum includes introductory talks and application guidance from Future Observatory and AHRC on this year’s coastal communities theme, and a chance to hear 2021-2022’s DEP cohort present their research projects responding to Net Zero+.
This is an opportunity to join the Future Observatory research network and meet fellow green transition design researchers across the UK’s academic and industry landscapes.
Speakers include:
Justin McGuirk, Director of Future Observatory
